Jesus is A god, but John 17:3 clearly states that ONLY the Father ALONE is GOD in the Highest sense of the word.
For more, see:

A careful look at John 1:1 will actually show how Jesus is NOT God:
In many Bibles, the first part of Jn 1:1 says, "In the beginning was the Word,"
The word "beginning" as used in Jn 1:1 indicates that the Word began at this time. Jehovah God, the Father alone has always existed. Therefore, the word "beginning" cannot be applied to Him, but only to His creations.
The second part of Jn 1:1 says,"...and the Word was with God,"
The word "WITH" as is used in Jn 1:1 indicates that the Word was near or by God at this time. Thus, "God" is phrased as a SEPARATE PERSON from the Word in Jn 1:1.
The third part of Jn 1:1 says, "...and the Word was (a) God."
In New Testament Greek, the same word is used for "God" AND "a god" which is theos (qeoV). Theos is the Greek word used in the third part of Jn 1:1. So how does one know if "God" or "a god" was meant here?
In New Testament Greek, the language DOES have a definite article ("the"), but it DOES NOT have an indefinite article ("a" or an"). At John 1:1, there are two occurrences of theos. The first one DOES HAVE the definite article ("the") but the second one in the third part of Jn 1:1 (the one in question) DOES NOT.
The first part of Jn 1:1 indicates that the Word began at this time. And if the third part of Jn 1:1 were interpreted to mean "the" God, then this would contradict the preceding clause of the second part which says that the Word was "with" God. Yet, the use of "God" for theos (qeoV) in John 1:1c is purposely mistranslated in most Trinitarian-produced Bibles as "God."

Notice, some translations render part of John 1:1:
1808: “and the word was a god.” The New Testament in an Improved Version, Upon the Basis of Archbishop Newcome’s New Translation: With a Corrected Text.
1864: “and a god was the word.” The Emphatic Diaglott, interlinear reading, by Benjamin Wilson.
1928: “and the Word was a divine being.” La Bible du Centenaire, L’Evangile selon Jean, by Maurice Goguel.
1935: “and the Word was divine.” The Bible—An American Translation, by J. M. P. Smith and E. J. Goodspeed.
1946: “and of a divine kind was the Word.” Das Neue Testament, by Ludwig Thimme.
1950: “and the Word was a god.” New World Translation of the Christian Greek Scriptures.
1958: “and the Word was a God.” The New Testament, by James L. Tomanek.
1975: “and a god (or, of a divine kind) was the Word.” Das Evangelium nach Johannes, by Siegfried Schulz.
1978: “and godlike kind was the Logos.” Das Evangelium nach Johannes, by Johannes Schneider.
Jesus is a god. John 1:1, 18. Satan is a god. 2 Cor. 4:4. Human judges were called gods. Ps. 82:6
If Jesus were the Great I AM of Exodus, then:
Who taught him what to say when he came to earth? John 8:28
Why didn't he know the day of judgment, although someone else did? Matt. 24:36
Why did he call someone else the only true God?
Whose teachings did he share with others? John 7:16, 17
Why didn't he direct his followers to pray to him? Matt. 6:9
Whose name did Jesus make known? John 17:28
Why did Jesus say that salvation hinged on doing someone else's will but not his? Matt. 7:21
Jesus is a god, but not the Almighty God.

Added on, to ur added on Q:
Jesus is called "the only-begotten god"
Does that ring a bell?
U say "an archangel Micheal,"

Jesus is a god who is in complete harmony with Jehovah.
According to John 1:18, Jesus is a god by virtue of the fact that Jehovah God, the Father, begot him, or fathered him. After all, isn't that what a father does? The fact that no one on earth has ever seen God rules out Jesus being God since Jesus was obviously seen by men.
It is noteworthy that for all the hand-waving and Bible-thumbing dogmatism of Trinitarians, Jesus never once claimed to be God—not once.
Instead, he always said that he was God's Son. And John 1:1 agrees with all Scripture; that Jesus has been with God since the beginning—his beginning that is—the beginning of creation.

Since I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I disagree that Jesus is a God. Jesus Christ is the the true God's son, and the true God's name is Jehovah. So in other words, Jesus Christ is Jehovah God's son.

You're still attacking the Jehovah's Witnesses? You never seem to be happy with any of the answers we give you, so whats your attention?
I agree he was a god, or divine, but not God.
Is "a god" the same thing as being "a God"? Not at all.
Men and Angels were called "gods"
Psalm 82:6
6 "I said, 'You are "gods";
you are all sons of the Most High.'
Psalms 138:1
I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart;
before the "gods" I will sing your praise.
Psalm 82:1
God presides in the great assembly;
he gives judgment among the "gods"
--==unsilenced lamb==--
(1) Jesus never said he was I AM
(2) We don't believe he was a God, but a god. Two different things.
Jehovah said "ego eimi oh won" yet Jesus said "ego eimi" - if Jesus was actually going by the title, he would have said "oh won", not ego eimi.
Revelation 1:8 - this is a scripture where Jehovah's name was removed, and replaced with Lord God. Many translators remove the word thoes (God) to make it seem like Jesus is the one talking here.
I suggest you get a better understanding on these facts.
He never called himself God at all... and he also said his father was the only true God.
--==Christian Soldier==--
Lets continue our discussion because it seems like you couldn't defend your beliefs the last time we talked.
The New Testament Or Rather The New Covenant-S.Sharpe: "I was before Abraham".
A Bible, A New Translation- J.Moffatt: "I existed before Abraham was born"
The New Testament in the Language of the Day-W.G.Beck: "I was before Abraham"
The Simple English Bible: "I was alive before Abraham was born"
The Twentieth Century New Testament: "before Abraham existed I was"
The New Testament in the Language of the People- C.B.Williams: "I existed before Abraham was born"
The Bible-An American Translation-E.Goodspeed(NT): "I existed"
The Unvarnished New Testament-A.Gaus: "I have already been"
The Authentic New Testament-H.J.Schonfield: "I existed"
The Complete Gospels-R.J.Miller(Editor): "I existed"
New American Standard Bible 1963-1970 editions: "I have been"-alternative rendering
I don't think you know your bible very well at all..
See how Christian Soldier ignores me?
--==Nina==--
Nina, I already told you yes. He is a god, but not a God. A god with a lowercase "g" has a different meaning.
--==Nina==--
How does he have a god son? Because he created him. Satan is called a god of this world, yet Jehovah created him. Do I think it will mistake his identity? Not not at all.
He was given the name Jesus when he was here on earth, and the Hebrew form of that name means "Jehovah is salvation". Micheal means "who is like God", and the archangel (theres only 1 archangel) Chief Angel.. So its clear who and who and no identity can be mistaken. Just like Jehovah went by means titles, so can Jesus and his other creatures he created.

Once again JW's let your yes be yes or no be no. Nothing else.
But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. Matt. 5:37
Is JR calling God a liar?
And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Ex. 3:14
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” John 8:58
God can't lie. Titus 1:2
Mosies
Prime example of taking Col. 1 out of context. You forgot the last verse.
And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. Col. 1:18
Jesus was preeminent because He is God. Check Gen. 1:26, ex. 3:14, jn. 8:58, 10:30, 1:1, 14, 1 jn. 5:7, col. 2:9, 1 tim. 3:16, titus 1:2, rev. 1:17-18
Jesus is head of the Church.
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Matt. 16:18

They would agree that Jesus was A God, But not the Almighty God....Even though there is much scriptural evidence to point out that he is the Great I AM, in human form.
JR..Certainly he did..go get a better translation of the Bible and look it up for yourself. Also called himself the Alpha and the Omega..You can look that up too...JR..I am not going to go into this with you, many before have done so and I am not going to waste my time....Nuff said....He also calls himself God..or better yet, blesses those who call him God.
