I work in a car lot and I am always walking on concrete

It absolutely can! There is no "give" to your bones when you walk on concrete. Standing also is bad for the same reason. If you must work on concrete, make sure you buy shoes with comfort and thick-soled support as well as ease of movement. Good luck!

Working or walking on concrete is very hard on your joints because there's no "give" to it. Be sure to wear good shock-absorbing shoes but the best thing is to avoid hard surfaces as much as possible.

I used to work in a supermarket years ago and health and safety told the manager that it wasn't good for us to be standing all day on hard floors so a couple of days after that we were standing on really thich spongy mats.
