You are not going to catch worms from your dog. Not any kind of a worm. It is very, very rare in this nation for a human to be infested with canine worms. And when they are, it is a skin lesion. Ok? You don't have to ask the same question five or ten times. The answer is the same. It is ok.
If you go on a missions trip or even a holiday in poor areas of the world you will see lots of worms in humans. They don't have the same sanitary conditions we have here. They bath and poo in the same water where animals do the same things. They catch worms. You won't. It is extremely rare for any human to end up with a skin lesion from a worm here.

I don't know how safe it is, personally I would keep my dog in even if it was not safe. The problem with worms is that some types can be passed to humans. You need to go to your vet and have her dewormed ASAP. Then use a monthly heartworm pill that also takes care of other worms like Intercepter.
Since my dog has been on Intercepter we havne't had any problems. Here is a site with some info. Good luck!

The above poster is incorrect that worms can only be transmitted to humans by contact with feces. Hookworms can attach themselves to a humans foot and then burrow. They can also be transmitted by flea larvae which can not be seen.

It is safe for her to be in the house. You need to take her to the vet because the worms won't go away on their own.

YES it is safe for her to be in your house. The only way you can get worms from your dog is if you eat her feces or have her feces on you hands and do not wash your hands. Be sure to take her to your vet and have her dewormed. Most over-counter wormers do not kill all types of worms.

It's safe for her to be in the house. Get her properly diagnosed and properly treated. Don't touch poop without washing your hands after... Commonsense and cleanliness will help you to avoid disease in all aspects of your life.

Yes, it's safe, just make sure you clean with bleach/water mixture, especially if you have other dogs or children.
Have you made her vet appt. yet?
