GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) – State police said the man charged with crashing into two parked cars on Interstate 40/85 Sunday morning is an illegal alien.Investigators said Jose Balderas has yet to produce a photo ID, and will not be released from jail until he provides one. Balderas reportedly told investigators he has been living in Washington, D.C. for the past seven months.Troopers said Balderas crashed his pickup into two cars along the westbound lanes of I-40/85 between Rock Creek and Mount Hope Church roads, near the retaining wall. The first car, a Honda Civic had broken down. A man driving a Dodge Neon had stopped to help. The drivers of both cars were reportedly in the Neon, calling for help, when the pickup driven by Balderas slammed into the Neon. The impact pushed the second car into the Civic, causing an explosion that engulfed all three vehicles.Both people in the second car were killed. Their names have not yet been released

"They were sitting there waiting for a tow truck to arrive and this gentleman comes along not abiding by the law and causes an accident of this magnitude," said Trooper K. Kutzer, NC Highway Patrol.

Witnesses told investigators the man driving pickup was speeding, and driving erratically.

Balderas is charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter, driving while impaired and underage drinking.

You know what this means - this arrest will mean one less hard working illegal with wonderful family values is available to take an American job and help our economy prosper and profits increase.

Any true American, whether naturally born or naturalized, should take offense to illegal aliens. We have a system in place for those who want to become citizens. This protects Americans because it weeds out criminals (as much as possible), but gives others a chance to make a better life for themselves and their families. Trying to sidestep this process is an insult to all legal immigrants who played by our rules and worked hard to become American citizens. If you crossed the border in some other countries, you could be shot on the spot. Or, perhaps they'd have mercy on you and only imprison you for the next 60 years. Why shouldn't America protect her borders, too? Would you offer a cookie and a cup of tea to a criminal who just busted down your front door? I think not. Your first reaction would be to either kill him, injure him or get him the hell out of your home. Why should we expect anything less when it comes to protecting the American people?

these illegals are taking more lives every day only it does not get any media play. Had this been an American who hit an illegal the protests would be non stop. Our lives seem to mean less and less. Where the parents of this kid at under age drinking and driving they should be held responsible for his actions. Enough is enough.

Cruel? I feel for the families of those killed who should NOT have been, if not for someone who should not have been here in the first place....my heart goes out to the families....the ultimate responsibility of this falls on our Administration for allowing this to happen...and continue to happen as they do nothing about it.

If so, ask Bush why Homeland Security lets people walk across, every day. This is a matter of enforcing the laws that we already have. That's the president's job. There's nothing you can do about it on YahooAnswers....
