I don't know what paracetemol is, but aspirin can be okay but needs to be dosed based on the dog's size. Your mum should have checked with the vet first before giving her anything.

You should ask your vet what they reccomend, but my vet says aspirin is OK. I use the childrens kind, but good luck getting the dog to take it. My dog eats trasha nd all kinds of gross stuff but wouldn't eat teh childrens aspirin no matter what I did.

Anyway ask the vet about the dosage and what they reccomend. I'm not familiar with paracetemol but I know dogs can not have tylenol.

Well, I don't think I'd reccomend it. Apparently uncoated aspirin is okay, but really, that medicine is for people. Would you give your child a painkiller for dogs? Talk to your vet about getting a painkiller. It may be that aspirin wouldn't even work, or that it wouldn't work well enough to be worth it.

You can use 10mg/lb. of body weight twice a day for aspirin. Also, enteric coated aspirin is not recommended in dogs.

No, actually.

a SMALL dose can be okay. I don't know what paracetemol is, actually, but Asprin is deadly for dogs, even a little too much can make them very sick. It can cause kidney and liver damage.
