Is this normal? He doesnt walk on his own yet, but when he grabs onto things, or walks holding onto things, he keep his feet all the way out, instead of pointing straight forward. he is 10 months.
should i be concerned? Maybe i should put him in shoes daily?

Yes its normal don't worry, mine did the same. After a 1 week he starts walking with the whole foot. That's CUTE, he's just learning that's why. I asked his doctor he said he's afraid that he might fall back that's why he walks on his tippy toes. He's more comfortable that way. It won't be to long till he starts walking like a pro. Good luck Enjoy the tippy steps they won't last 4 ever. God Bless!!

I think its really just something that is normal. My mother said I did this when I was learning to walk. And then after I did walk for some reason I would walk with my toes pointed up towards the ceiling then after I was walking a lot my mom said I would walk ON my toes everywhere. Lol so I guess kids just enjoy doing things their own way.

There are continuously many motives for many of the flaws babies do. some are notoriously habit forming only like walking on tippy feet. this could ensue enormously if baby has used a toddler walker because of the fact leg muscle groups in basic terms strengthen regularly by utilising pulling up from the floor. different motives for T feet are: each and every so often brought about by utilising overactive calf muscle groups. each and every so often achilles tendon is only too tight. each and every so often by using severe motives: Tethered cord Syndrome -' spinal cord is stretched extra than its meant to be. > MRI test will tell. each and every so often brought about by utilising a loss of oxygen at delivery. My little brother is 8 and he walks on his feet. We observed an ortho healthcare professional final week and he's making an apointment for a physio therapist. For him, Its the tendon and muscle are way too tight, on the severe fringe of tight. His recomondations are on an usual basis workouts, 2-three times an afternoon for 3 months and take it from there. in the event that they paintings and lenghten the tendon it looks like this may be a on an usual basis difficulty untill he stops growing to be. he's barely 8 now. arms crossed this might paintings. If no longer, casting the foot in plaster in a stretched place for 4-6 weeks, after that surgical operation to lenghten the tendon.

It may just be how he better balances himself at this early stage. Much easier to balance with your feet spread than facing forward. I'd mention it at his next checkup, let the doctor see for himself and evaluate. I'm guessing it will be nothing, but if everything else seems normal you can just ask the doctor at the next checkup rather than panic.

I think it is proubably normal. They say not to put the child in shoes until they are walking steadily as it helps them develop better if you don't. If you are really concerned about it you could always take him to a chiroprator to determine if his spine or hips are out of alignment.

Talk to your child's doctor
Some children need to wear a brace or special shoes.

Don't worry too much, Right now your child might be doing this in order to stay balanced.
