its according to how you are referring to midnigjht... if its just before 3pm and you are talking about midnight then by all means midnight is after 3pm now... and when you are talking about midnight and it past 3pm then midnight now is after 3pm... Of course it is after. How can midnight occur BEFORE 3pm, or ANY time for that matter?

You could have asked does midnight occur after or before 12:01am and the answer would STILL be after because time doesn't ever happen backwards.

Both, of course! It's 9 hours before midnight and 15 hours after midnight (except at Daylight Slaving Time). That question is like asking "Will the sun be in the West or in the East tomorrow?"

Midnight is 12:00 am so therefore it is the first hour of a day. With that said, 3 pm is after midnight for that day.

According to Military time 3 p.m. (1500 Hrs) is before Midnight (2400 Hrs). They new day doesn't begin until 12:01 (0001 Hrs- pronounced zero-zero-zero-one-hundred hours)
