I know that majority of Christians believe that if you are not a Christian, if you do not believe in Jesus as your savior, you will end up TORTURED for billions of years from a" loving" and "JUST" God in a HORRIFIC hell fire.
If they think this is not sadistic and unjust, do they apply this kind of "love" to their kids?
I mean , if their version of God is supposed to be our loving father, do they as parents punish their kids by setting the house of fire and burn them till the end of their lives hoping that after that they will still love them? Or do they threat their kids to use such a punishment as a sign of their "LOVE"?
Remember this, I said majority of Christians believe in a hell -torture not all , some believe that hell is the grave.
This question is for the majority that believes in hell as a torture place for non-believers in this cult of "love".

If you can conceive a God that would torture people, what kind of sadistic monster are you to worship such an entity?

I just lerve the way each of them said it was our fault if we went to hell, or, he really does love us.
None attempted to justify 'his' sadistic actions per se because under any circumstances those actions are unjustifiable but, as Blaise Pascal said "Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction."
I can see these fundies above me lighting the fires ... just to help out their 'god'.
I'm glad the thing they say exists, doesn't.

God doesn't do the torture.
Whether non-believers go to hell or not, I won't say. I will say this: If you don't love God, then surely you don't want to spend an eternity in heaven with him.
It's your decision. Why blame the Lord for your own choices?
God bless you, and be well.

If you believe the worst of God, why not believe the best? That He became a man and bore the exact suffering that you deserve in His own person so you would not have to?
I think anyone who would scorn and scoff such love - well, frankly eternal damnation is too good for such a one.

fear not the one that can kill the body, fear the one that can destroy the soul. hell means the grave our bodies will all end up there, the pit that is talked about in Rev. does not exist yet, no one has been judged except for Satan and his angles.after judgment day the lost souls will be thrown in the pit and will be destroyed forever and to the ones that remain will be wiped out of memory. {what kind of heaven would it be if you could hear the weeping and gnashing of teeth day in and day out forever] .

According to all statistics, those Christians who believe in the "Hell-fire and brimstone" type of eternity is only approx. 20% of those who profess Christianity. Catch up, your majority view is incorrect.

The choice is yours. You choose heaven or hell. If you reject God you choose to go to Hell. I know atheists don't like to accept this but you make the choice, not God.
