You can show me how smart you are by talking, but true understanding comes from listening and learnign how to listen

To be wise you are aware that you do not know everything about life, etc. You are willing to listen to what others have to say and allow them to share their wisdom with you. There are those people in the world that beleive they know everything and all they do is talk about what they know. They are not as willing to listen to or take advice from others.

Knowledge is knowing something.
Wisdom is knowing how to apply that knowledge.

Alot of people like to rattle of what they ( think ) they know.
Wise people, instead, listen and speak when they have something to contribute.

As they old saying goes: God gave you one mouth and two ears for a reason.
