Even though we have a VERY HECTIC lifestyle and work schedules,we always make it a top priority to eat up to the kitchen table every night for dinner. It is a way for us to reconnect as a family and to catch up on what is going on in each of our lives!

My little girl is in elementary school and we want her to know how important family is and that she can talk to us about anything and we will always love her and care about her no matter what! We have a very open line of communication with our little girl and she tells us everything about what is going on in school, and what kind of friends that she likes to hang out with. Whenever one of her friends come over,my husband and I also invite the parents over so we can talk with them and get to know them while the kids play outside.

We also love to play either monopoly or scrabble up to the kitchen table after dinner too as a family at least three times a week! ;-)

I would like to, but no, they are all far away. Am sure some families still do it, and its good that they do.
