I have a hp dv6500z and my specs are:
Vista Home Premium (32bit) and XP Professional
AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 Dual-Core TL-64 2.2 GHz
4GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
383MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive

Would upgrading to Vista Ultimate 64-bit increase the speed of my computer?

if you are a gamer i don't recommend 64 bit because its hard to find drivers... or thats just what i have heard. However its up to you and as for speed increase it seems like your computer should be running just fine. ^__^ i want a 160 GB hard drive. So its up to you

Vista is made for a 64 bit computer. If your computer is only 32 bit, you're wasting your money because only half the program will be utilized. In other words, it won't work.

Yes but the increase is slight according to AMD itself because 32-bit subcircuit they use is very efficient.
