I love to share my story! Its a bit long, but I'll try to shorten it up a bit. I was told by 2 "specialist" that I would not be able to concieve, and that if I did, I would not carry because I had a too thin uterus. We tried for 9 years before we found that out. (I also took Clomid for 2 years which did not work for me because of the other issues I had.)I suffered from severe ovarian cysts, virtually no progesterone, way too much estrogen and a litney of other problems that prevented me from ovulating. So when I felt a lump in my lower abdomen, I just passed it off as another ovarian cyst that would just rupture and redisolve just like all the rest did; therefore I wasn't about to go the doctor and pay another bill. I also had hand surgery which included series of x-rays, anestesia, and hydrocodone for pain only a couple of weeks before I found out I was pregnant. (Needless to say I was horrified to think what my poor baby was put through going through all that, not to mention all the heavy lifting, contact with contagious diseases, physically being abused by my demented patients at work.....)So when I started to gain a couple of pounds, I didn't think anything of it other than it was from being off work(no light duty in a nursing home!) After my surgery, my mother came to stay with me so my husband could go back to work and I wouldn't be alone. My mother even saw me naked, so if there was ANY incling that I was pregnant, my mother would have spotted it a mile away! After I had some "symptoms", my sister bought me a digital test. When I took the test and it came back positive I about fell over!(Good thing I was already sitting on the toilet!) I called my husband home and handed him the test. He asked "Who's is this?" I responded with "Oh, I just asked some random women to pee on a stick for me.........IT'S MINE!!" Well the longer he stared at the test stick the bigger his smile got. The next day we went to the doctor and he measured my belly. "That's a good strong 20" he said. I'm thinking to myself "what inches, centimeters...what?" Then my husband said "WEEKS?!" And the doctor said "Yes, weeks." My husband looked at me and said "That's like 5 months....how can you be 5 months pregnant and not know it!?" "Well you're the police detective and YOU didn't figure it out!"
When you are told you can't have any babies, that is the last thing you think of when you get an unusual amount of gas! So right then and there we got to hear baby's heartbeat! That was the sweetest sound I had ever heard! So the next day, we went and had an ultrasound done and found out I was 21.5 weeks and was having a little girl! In just over 32 hours we went from "not being able to have any" to being half way there! In 4 short months we had a perfect baby girl 7lbs. 2oz. 21inches long.

We'd just been told that we couldn't have children, but I was a few days late and was supposed to be having a flu shot that day, so thought I'd test just to confirm that I wasn't pregnant. My husband had gone out to play golf early that morning so I got up after he'd left and did the test, then went back to bed and read my book. After about 10 minutes I remembered about the test and went and checked it. When I saw the 2 lines my first thought was that there weren't supposed to be 2 lines! So I got the instructions out of the trash can and read them, but when I read that I was pregnant I just decided that there was something wrong with the test. So I went back to bed for a bit then got up and ran some errands and picked up another test while I was out. I was totally calm the whole time because I knew I wasn't pregnant. Anyway the second test came back positive as well so I thought I'd better call my husband (on the golf course) and he said well you can't be pregnant so call the Doctor and find out what is going on. So I called and the nurse said that if I had 2 positive tests then I was definitely pregnant! I was still in shock for days. Unfortunately I lost that baby at 9 1/2 weeks, but have since had 2 beautiful babies, both conceived very easily. My husband has never forgiven the Doctor who told us we wouldn't ever get pregnant.

Well let me see, with my first child my boyfriend was worried that I may be pg. I had not missed a period and had no symptoms, but he kept bugging me about it nonetheless. He called me everyday and asked if I had gotten my period. He nagged me CONSTANTLY! I finally told him that if it would shut him up and make him feel better I would take a test. OMG! I about died when I saw that + test!
When I found out about #3, I had a 4mos old baby at home. My husband and I had a little too much to drink and too much "fun" at a New Years Eve party. I was just counting the days till I could test. Sure enough, baby #3 was on the way! My husband came home from work that night and I didn't say a word to him. He just looked at me and said "your pregnant aren't you." I think we both knew the moment he was conceived. oops.
#2 and #4 were your basic missed period and took a test.

My husband and I had been trying sense our honeymoon 2 years ago and it never seemed like it would ever happened. We tried and tried and tried. We got so frustrated that we decided to give up on sex for a while. I went to the doctor a month 1/2 later for my anual check up at the gynocalogist and to talk to her about what my husband and i were doing wrong that we weren't able to have children. And for someone reason i couldn't understand why she kept smiling and looking at me funny and then i finally asked her and she told me that i was 2 months pregnant. HOW I DIDN"T know i would shocked i didnt know.. LOL. I couldn't wait for my husband to get home from work so that i could tell him so i drove all the way to his job and ran in his office and just screamed it out.. Needless to say his boss gave him the rest of the day off it was a very exciting moment for the both of us to hav ebeen trying so hard..

It's not when i found out i was pregnant, but rather when i was 22 weeks. My partner Andrew & I was at the hospital for my check up. They done a ultra sound and then said 'they' were alright. Andrew stuttered out 'th th they' doctor replied 'Didn't you know your having twins?'
BANG Andrew hit the floor. He had fainted. I still tease him over it. LOL!!
And this time (i am only 7 weeks) i took the pregnancy test in our bathroom, he went in to get it and came running out to me, but fell over on of the twins bikes. The test went flying. It took about half an hour to find it, as it landed in the boys toy box!!
Goodluck i hope you have a baby soon. xxxx

My sister in law called me on my birthday last year and told me that she was pregnant. I was only 3 days late for my period, but she had a ClearBlue Easy with 2 test sticks, so I told her to bring over the extra one the next day. Turns out we were BOTH expecting - and our boys ended up being exactly 1 week apart!

Nothing as cute as that. We figured it out over a week before I missed my period because out of nowhere I started belching so bad it sounded like I had drank a pitcher of beer or something equally gross. Just out of no where I started doing that and my husband looked at me and asked if I was pregnant. LOL I said it's to early for that to be possible but sure enough I was pregnant.

Well, I had never gotten sick on my husbands motorcycle before even on a full stomach so I knew I was when I ate a huge breakfast at cracker barrel, then vomited on the way home while riding his motorcycle not the most attractive story I know but it seems funny now.

Me n my hubby were TTC for 8 months after our marriage but i really wanted to get pregnant. So was the pressure from my parents that i started to blv i had some problem with me and went to a gynaec to ask her why i wasnt able to conceive. She convinced me that it takes one year or more sometimes but if i was really worried she wld ask me to take some one my tests and even my husband's. I was given down a doctor's note that read, " Primary Infertility" and was asked to take some normal tests.
When i readthe word infertility - it broke me. Though nothing had come up but i felt dejected. I showed it to my hubby and asked him if he wld be comfortable to get his Semen analysis and stuff.. Now he wasnt ..and I cld make it out. He asked me if we cld wait for next month and then go for tests. After all its not even one year of our marraige. I agreed halfheartedly.
It was that time when i was expecting my period in three days and i was always regular. I was sitting at my work having my fav cup of coffee when i felt so damn sleepy that I actually slept for 5 minutes with head down. Then after waking up i saw my tea and felt like puking. IT suddenly tasted bad and I called my huuby to tell i was feeling extremely sleepy. Then after a week of missing my periods..I thought of taking the test and woooo it was positive!!!
I showed it to my hubby..no doubt he was the happiest man ..for my pregnancy test result and also for not having to undergo those tests anymore!! lol

Years and years ago, before pregnancy tests were on the retail market, I went for an upper GI series (an xray). While on the table before they pointed the raygun at me, they asked if I was preggers. I said, "I dunno, I only did it two weeks ago" whereupon they took me off the table, took blood, and came back to tell me to get dressed, as I was all of two weeks pregnant.
I say I had the LONGEST pregnancy in history, as she was born only a day before her due date!
