I haven't gotten any, but almost always abide by the Guidelines, and didn't get many in the year before the change.

The info that's missing here is whether each person routinely violates the Guidelines.

An astonishingly few people have any idea what the Guidelines ARE, even though they are asked to read them with every violation notice.

Most people don't realize, ofr instance, that calling people idiots, or asking non-questions, or giving non-answers are all violations.

So they keep getting stuff removed, and assuming it's because "someone" doesn't "like" them, and never bother finding out the truth.

What would be interesting to know (but probably unknowable) would be whether more genuine violations were removed, and fewer legitimate posts removed.

I wish Yahoo would have some system whereby people were told what it was they did wrong, and WHY it's a no-no, rather than the wrist-slap with no explanation, but then, why people don't actually read the Guidelines when they've had stuff removed, I just don't get.

I have received less, but I feel they were most definitely unfair. I have gone through old violations which I do save and I have to admit that some, while not profane or vile were somewhat warranted. The few I have received of late have absolutely violated no community rules, while some posts that were "questionable" were not deleted nor did I receive a violation notice in regard to them. It seems to me that individuals are targeted and slammed in mass. Smacks of an organized effort. I guess I am not important enough for the hyenas to concentrate on me! {{{Carolyn & Wayne}}}
Edit: I wonder if hugs are against guidelines?

Hmm well I'm not sure.
I go in cycles you see and my violations work on strong correlation with these cycles.
It kinda goes like this.

Level 1- Rarely if ever raunchy questions
Level 2- About 2 a week, violations about once a week
Level 3- About every other day, 3 violations a week, usually followed by suspension where I start back over again.

I don't know why I follow this destructive path yet I do...sadly I do.

I received a violation notice from Yahoo for the following question which was never posted:
"God has helped me 4,892 times in the past, but how do I know He will help me now"?

I really don't get the new guidelines.

Sending you a smile to help pick up your day.

2 since the community moderation started. None before.

None at all, which surprises me because I'm now allowing contacts (hint, hint). I did receive one on Talk Like a Pirate Day, but I knew that question would get reported when I asked it. I forgot to delete the darn thing so that was my mistake.

Believe it or not, I've only gotten one and that was before the community moderation.

Just one since it started, and that was today when I was dared by the avatar below me to try to try to upset the people in Cats. This was an easy feat - My question was deleted in less than a 1/2 hour.
