Yeah my brain hurts too. I think there are some questions that can never be answered and that is one of them. As far as people who have committed suicide as not believing in God etc. etc. it's rubbish. If you've ever been suicidal you wouldn't say that. A person who committs suicide is not in their right mind and are as sick as a person with terminal cancer. Yet no one would say "they died of cancer because they didn't believe in God." I'm no expert but the way I think is that these burdens are not from God. I say this because there are burdens so great they ruin marriages, makes financial ruin, puts someone homeless in the streets. Those are not of the God I love. Jesus truly weeps when one of his children have awful things occur in their lives. Ilness, despair, depression, suicide etc. are of a world that has good and evil. seek help if you're feeling depressed, please. Help is out there and it works. God bless you.

He doesn't give us too much to bear. Everyone has a choice. The people who committed suicide are the ones that allowed a thought to take over when they should have controlled it. People really think there is no way out, but if they were to put their train of thought into context they would realize that it really isn't that bad. That is the reason why he or she needs someone to confide in or at least someone who recognizes that someone is in trouble. Too many people ignore others and do not see the warning signs. I would give them this example from the bible. The Romans punished Jesus for doing nothing wrong. He was tortured and spit on. Eventually they killed him. Now if Jesus was able to bear that back then, what do we have in modern times that can compare to that? I cannot think of anything so our burdens today are slight compared to Jesus. If we can recognize that our pain is nothing compared to Jesus’ pain, then we can make better choices and we can win in life. Sometimes the reason why people think there is no way out is because God is really trying to change their direction in life. You are going one way and He wants you to go another way. You need to see that change to make it happen, and He will reward you for it.

this scripture is so misquoted it is pathetic, the scripture is found in 1 Corinthians 10:13 and it says " No temptation has seized you except what is common to man, and God is Faithful he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, But when you are tempted he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it....This scripture does not promise us that we will not go through hard times and it does not say that he will not "give us more than we can handle" It deals with temptation and it says that he will provide a way out. And to the person who quoted Acts 15:28 You forgot to give the complete scripture it says (starting where you left off) "not to burden you with anything other than the following requirements You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. you will do well to avoid these things" It is trouble when people only use half of the word, doing so changes the meaning and people believe what is not there.

You come into this world with nothing, and you surely will take nothing with you when you die. Your life is what happens to you between those two points. Your burdens are your own, and not a conspiracy from some mythical unicorn in the sky. Some people were not raised to cope with their burdens well, and that's why suicides happen.

why do so many christian people commit suicide if this were true. They snap with or without god and the snap if the attend or do not attend church. It has to be burden that drives them to suicide so if god give everything he gives them to much to bear. so the premise that God will not give more than you cant bear is false.

There's obviously a difference between what people CAN bear and what people WILL bear.
"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." 1cor 10:13

First of all there is not a verse in the Bible that says anything about God putting more on you then you can bear. Thats a song anyways people commit sucide because that don't follow God. And put us through situations so that our faith in Him will be developed also
'But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.' 2 Cor. 2:9

God really doesnt give us more than we can bear...He allows certain things to happen to us so that we can learn from it and move on, and still give Him praise...God knows our capacity, He knows what we can and cannot handle, so any situation that we may face, know that He allowed it becuz he knows that we will handle it very well...ask for ppl who commit suicide...well the devil is the one who whispers negative things to us...anything that is not of God, is obviously of the devil...those ppl who commit suicide jus think that the problems they r faced with r too much for them, n that there's no way that they can be solved...but God promised never to leave us nor forsake us, so even while we're goin thru the problem that we think we cant handle, He's right there in the midst of it all...most times he wants to teach us a lesson by allowing certain problems...those ppl who commit suicide, its sad to say but, they dont know God, cuz anyone of God will not even think of doin such act, but take their problems to the Lord in prayer...

They absolutely CAN bear it, if they have faith. The problem is many people give up too easily. They have trouble seeing beyond their immediate grief.
