Yes, we are made perfect, but not until after we die. God is a perfect God and can only have perfect people live with Him in Heaven, make sense? If not ask me to explain myself better ; )

I don't think so. Just as our sins can affect those around us for generations, so can a work that God has begun in us. I've studied my family tree and found many church leaders in the crowd. That provided a background that affected my spiritual growth even when I didn't know my family history, because their teachings and beliefs were passed on from parent to child.

i believe that your work is done when you die, unfortunately everyone that dies has NOT finished their work. I do know that if God wants a work finished it doesn't necessarily have to be finished in us, we can began the work and someone else may see it through.

While I agree in spirit with Lids she is wrong. Both Enoch and Elijah went up with out tasting death and I believe Moses might number among them as well, but it is a personal belief.
Having said that in modern time it seems we are made perfect in death as Lids says because we are finished. Those that live to the second coming God will see them to heaven in what ever form he sees fit.

Thats a really good question. I have had people tell of like car wrecks, the doctors said they wouldn't make it, but their family just happen to be spirit filled believers, prayed for their loved one, and that loved one growing up to be a minister of the gospel. He himself said that God told him that was why he spared his life, so he could be used by him to spread the word of God and led sinners to Christ. So it would kind of stand to reason, that once you had fulfilled your calling that Jesus would in fact call you home? (just a guess).

If the shepherd is followed until the end, then the work of God will be complete. Those who stray or do not recognize the shepherd will also have the work of God finished in them.

Not at all. When we die,we become closer to God. I plan on asking God a lot of questions when I get to Heaven.
