NASCAR is a grueling series in which the drivers are cooped up inside those cars for hours at a time, trying to maintain full focus every lap. When they are wrecked all their focus and attention they put into every lap was pointless. Every race also is very important for money and points. I can kind of see why they would get a little angry, even if it does look foolish on TV.

It is an emotional event when you have a good race going and it gets wrecked. As Jeff Green put it so well, last Sunday, "there is more than one race going on." There are races for the top 35, races for pride, as well as the race to win the event, and the race for the championship. When it takes so much focus to be competitive, it is enough to avoid wrecks, and when the wreck can't be avoided is when the driver feels wronged.
The real issue here is shouldn't the broadcast crew give a driver a chance to cool down after a wreck before the interview? We would hear more rational interviews, but they would be boring.

There is a bunch of them.I mean a tight track or a wide open superspeedway ,There are some drivers think they are the gifts to racing and it does not matter if they caused a wreck or if they are caught up in someone elses they whine that it was done on purpose,B.S.
This is racing ,when the green flag drops the bull chit stops.
So if the whines ,or their fans, don't like it find another sport.

For the same reason that the Dallas Cowboys have been crybabies since 1966. It's the only way they can justify "not winning".

The only cry babies in NASCAR are Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick, and Jimmie Johnson.
