no over the counter product is going to equal a medical pain pill. The closest medicine that would help is Advil liquid capsules. They work very quickly on pain. you can use these four times a day.

No one can answer that question better than a pharmacist. It would be best to call the pharmacy where you got the skelaxin. I have found that pharmacists are so smart, and know more about meds than many doctors! Good luck! :)
