This ALWAYS happens to me when I take a bath..sometimes a really hot shower. I get out and I get really lightheaded, things start looking slow motion, I lose my sense of hearing, I get nauseous, and almost pass out. I have to sit down various times and try and stand back up without passing out. why does this happen??? Anyone know? I'm really curious...

the heat has actually lowered your blood pressure , and that's why you feel this way =I found it strange the first time I heard it from my Dr. ,but it is true

This may be an affect of syncope. It commonly hapens when blood is drawn away from the head too fast for the body to handle.
After experiencing the same symptoms, I asked my doctor about it. He told me it isnt something to be worried about but we need to take better caution when getting up after sitting for extended periods of time.
A note of caution: On some occasions, I have either hit myself on the head after passing out and/or have woken up in a mild seizure. (The seizure was my body's way of kickstarting my body again.)
My recommendations;
Talk to your doctor. It won't hurt and it could possible something worse, like a heart related problem.
Keep a snack with you at all times. Having an empty stomach encourages my symptoms. Also, drinking juice has seemed to help me a lot.
Don't encourage these symptoms.
Finally, get up slowly but sit back down if you feel light headed.

If it was a sort of dizziness with white blindness, it would probably be because of dehydration. Drink lots of fluids. Keep a constant rate. Big glass of something every 1-2 hours. You won't experience the blindness and you'll recover from your sickness quicker as well

I've been told it's something to do with the heat messing around with your blood pressure.
The moral of the story is don't make your bath too hot!

when you feel warm and relaxed, you get really tired and your body thinks its time to sleeeep. its almost the same as when you try to pop up out of bed really quick and have to go right back down. you could try to take cool/luke warm showers during the day, and hot showers/baths before bed. that way you wont feel so weird. dont worry, theres nothing wrong with you.

lack of blood to your head causes you to feel light headed, when lieing down, in hot water, your heart is not pumping as hard. When you stand up the blood doesn't get up to your brain right away causing that momentary "awe" feeling....
