It is a concept that is derived from adding a couple of verses together...

Proverbs 8:13 To fear the Lord is to hate evil

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

It's not in the Bible. This "love the sinner" nonsense is a ploy to make those afflicted with the sin of homophobia feel better about their sin. That way, instead of repenting, they may continue to sin and experience less guilt.

That's complete carap... and you wont find it in the bible anywhere... the bible doesn't seem to script hatred..... but bigots will just keep on applying their hatred. If there is a lake of fire into which sinners get tossed.. there are sure going to be some dissapointed bigots when they find themselves in there with the rest of us.

I do not know of a verse that says that. But God is Love, and God hates sin. Look at what Jesus did. He normally forgave, and then told them to sin no more, and they went on their way.
So the action speaks of this.
