As in any great work of fiction, the main character does many amazing things... but in reality, he doesn't exist.

"implied"? You'd think they could have added those two words - or maybe they ran out of ink and parchment

you are absolutely sure about that? i believe that god exists, i just cant point to him to prove it. but lets say you are right that god does not exists, that when you die its over, your existence is at an end. as a believer in god, i have lived my life as i feel that he wanted me to, so what do i lose? nothing. since there was nothing to lose.
now lets say i am right, that god does exist, and there is life after death. you have lived your life denying the existence of god, when the end comes, since you have denied the existence of god, he wont accept your existence, thus you end up banished from gods love. what have you lost? everything. now do you really want to deny the existence of god?
and the bible verses indicating that god is real;
genesis 1:!
in the beginning god created the heaven and the earth
mark 1:1
the beginning of the gospel of jesus christ, the son of god
john 1:1
in the beginning was the word, and the word was with god and the word was god

The Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Now the earth was [a] formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

You obviously have not read the bible, and if you plan on starting and want to know the best way to find the place where it says "God exists" then I'd recommend you start with the beginnning of the book. Like, say... the old testament!
Then I'd recommend you work your way to the end.
Seriously, you'll find it.
But first you'll have to get off of Yahoo Answers.

Genesis 1:1, In the beginning God.... That is the opening statement and it shows that God exists. He has always existed and always will.

Tell me: where in the Bible is there something that can be totally disproven by History?
I have found nothing, so I have no reason to disbelieve the Bible, which has "God exists" written all over it...

I'm not even going to answer this, you don't want an answer. You just want to give us a bad name and make us mad. (by the way, if you actually read the bible you'd know exactly were it says "God exists".)

Here we go:
Hebrews 11:6 (New International Version)
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:6 (Amplified Bible)
But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].
Hebrews 13:7 (Amplified Bible)
Remember your leaders and superiors in authority [for it was they] who brought to you the Word of God. Observe attentively and consider their manner of living (the outcome of their well-spent lives) and imitate their faith ([a]their conviction that God exists and is the Creator and Ruler of all things, the Provider and Bestower of eternal salvation through Christ, and their [b]leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness).
Hebrews 11:6 (New Living Translation)
And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
