hmm i found a $20 bill while walking to work one morning in 34 degree weather and I walked 3 miles to get there. I was barely making minimum wage and I saw it lying on the ground in front of a church. I usaually crossed before I got there because the sidewalk runs out but there was alot of traffic that day and I just kept moving waiting on a break to cross the street.. I feel like it was a blessing from God because I didn't even have anything to eat for lunch. Who would you have given that money to?

Nope.

Because you can't 'personally identify' cash, I never turn it in (unless, of course, I specifically hear someone say out loud that they're missing blah-blah).

What I do is, I give the money to charity or go out and buy a homeless person food.

That way, you don't feel guilt for keeping something which is not yours, AND, you 'circulate' the money back into society where it's needed.

it was good of you, but realistically i doubt someone will come back to claim a missing 20 dollars, it probably ended up in the shop till

no unless you had an idea of who it belonged to. In the end whomever you handed it to will most likely just keep it but I think it does show how honest and kind you are and I respect you for that!

Oh yeah! I'm so proud of you...lol..I, honestly, probably would have not turned it in cause it was $20... i know, i'm horrible. but i would have definitely turned it in if it was 35+ but awesome job! God will definitely reward you.
