I don't even want to get into the details, we just haven't been friends for 3 years now, and after I saw the house on Sunday and heard that it burned at like 4am I freaked.

I have a fear of the dark, fear of sleeping alone, this whole incident had only worsened the two, and now I can't even think about sleeping in my own room. My mind travels, I get scared...

I am scared..and I mean scared of seeing the aftermath of burning buildings/houses, it's just so scary.

I've been feeling so devestated since yesterday...I mean what do I do?

Since your mind is still on that fire dont think about it. A sports shop was fried for a 3 alarm near my home i actually took pics of it.I think when you sleep in the dark you dream of that fire correct? Just dont and itll be all good

I suggest getting a friend or relative to come-over. Tell them your fear and the strength of your fear. Ask that they sleep-over for a night or two to help you calm yourself.
After you have talked for a while, play a funny old (non-violent) movie to let your mind think other thoughts.

Maybe by the end of the week you will be able to get in see a counselor to discuss why your fear is so strong, and effective ways of handling it in the future.

It sounds like this fire has triggered a deep - old - fear of yours. Something you could use some help with. Call Mental Health and ask to see a counselor for a few visits.

well you HAVE to confront your fears or you will never get over it or stay scared and dont do anything at all and chicken out and allways be scared of going past a burnt down house

HELL even think about it in a good way...what that is i dont know but you can think of something

Expose yourself to more burning houses and confront your fears.
