How do you prepare to meditate?

I look out the window and blink a few times in a row and then close my eyes and enjoy the light show. I prepare by turning all lights out in the room except for the window light,.

I relax here in R/S
that's just how I unwind, get stuff out of my system, relax
later I sit and read, often falling asleep
I do wish to do more conscious style of meditation

I can work things out,come up with great ideas,find answers to problems.And, even pray when I take a shower.This is the most relaxing place to me.At the days end,a nice hot shower brings on answers to all of lives questions.

I first go to God in prayer and aske that He be with me as I attempt to draw nearer to His truths and to Him.
Then, I read the Bible. With that scripture or, chapter, I think about the times in which it was written, the culture and laws of that day. Then, I can easily apply this to my own life and times.
Through this, I have learned much! Especially, when I need true discernment about something I need to clarify.

JUST being here on R & S helps me to relax...but then there are times when its all wasted, because someone thinks they
are funny & they answer with a nasty responce...that upsets me...
and I usually
leave ...

I go to the ocean look out to sea and talk to God. I always find peace and near to god at the ocean..
