Why did my cat urinate on me?

Today my 1yo very litter box trained cat climbed on my chest and urinated on me!! She has never done this before.

Wow. I've known cats that urinated on their owners clothing but never on their owner!

Get your vet to check for a urinary tract infection or some urinary abnormality. Good luck!

Yep, a cat with a urinary tract infection will get your attention in any way she can!

If it was male I'd say the cat is marking you as its own, which could be the case, but it's not as common with females.
