you condemn 67% of the worlds population to hell. Doesn't that seem a little bothersome to you?

I have to agree with Consul of Rome. I mean it's not like Christians have ever gone to a foreign land and forced its native people to convert or else. It's not like they ever did anything weird like claiming women were witches. And it's certainly not like they ever went on military CRUSADES mostly blessed by the Pope to rid the world of who they decided were heretics. Oh, wait...

It's not 'my belief' that condemns people to eternal death. It's man'kind's willful hatred and ignorance of The Father as well as each other that condemns them and keeps them in spiritual darkness. This world is so hell bent on denying anything good that they spite themselves. They are committed to digging their own graves. Why?

The Father offered us a perfect way. But people still after 2 world wars and thousands of years of self inflicted torment believe that they can do it their own imperfect way. Man still hasn't figured out that doing evil brings about nothing good. And that feeding his own selfish desires do nothing for the betterment of all.

People hate the truth so much that they'd rather shake their fists at Christians who say to love one another than Al Qaeda and radical Islam (which has vowed to literally kill us). What is so horrific about there being a Father in Heaven that loves them. That there is hope if only they would stop, think, and listen. How sick is that? Does accountability scare people that much?

That's what seems bothersome.

I for one am not condemning anyone to Hell. That will be Jesus that will make that decision come Judgment Day. OH, and by the way there will only be about 1/3 of the population that even make it too Heaven, so if your saying 67 % of them are condemned then they have condemned themselves. So don't blame the choices people make on us.
And just ware in the round world do you think you have the right to accuse us of sending them to Hell. I don't want to see anyone go to Hell, Not even you! Unless be the one to send them there! You are way out of line on this one.

I can tell you something that I know to be absolute truth- my belief cannot condemn anyone to hell- people do that by not believing in Jesus. I could tell you the truth about Christ and you can accept it or deny it, I am not responsible for your response- you are. If you do not believe that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life- all you have to do is say, you do not believe that- why should I have to change the truth to suit you. If I was not a believer in Christ- I would be condemned already, no matter what someone said to me. Telling us that we condemn you and hell is given us far too much power- we do not have that power. You have a choice-make it or not. up to you.

How am *I* condemning someone to hell? If you are worried about this, perhaps you should take it up with God. It is His word that says that all those who do not call of the name of Jesus and believe on Him will not be saved. I don't mean to be rude, but my believing or disbelieving Christianity doesn't change a thing and doesn't condemn a soul. If the Bible is true, it is true. If it is false, then it is false. My believing in it doesn't make it any truer, and my beliefs don't have any affect on who goes to heaven and who goes to hell.

I think if you have a problem with is, you should take it up with the Lord. And by the by, Christianity is not the only religion that claims exclusivity. Why don't you also post this question to Muslims, etc?

Yes, It is troubling.

But even more bothersome is the apathy many Christians have to do anything about it....just feeding at the trough baby...I'm OK, you're OK...don't make it too real or I will find another house where I can wallow in myself.

If this was bothersome to 95% of Christians instead of about 5%, we could move mountains with God's love.

Would you like yo know the Lord so you can help out?

You can only condemn yourself to hell. Other Christians do not condemn other people. When a Christian is spreading the Word of God part of that is to tell others that if they dont get right with God, that they have chosen the path to hell. That is not condeming someone, that is sharing the truth of eternal life with one another.

Just because that is our belief, doesn't mean that WE are condemning the 67% you speak of. The only person capable of condemning them is Jesus Christ. He is the ultimate judge, and noone else:) We as christians are taught to love all of our brothers and sisters, and not to judge. Only God/Jesus can judge me:)

You're wrong - it's actually 100% of the world's population that is condemned to hell.

But it's not Christians that condemn, it is the sinful way of life that people engage in that condemns them. You see all people, even Christians have fallen short of God's standard which is necessary to get in to heaven and be with a holy God for eternity.

That's why I trust in Jesus, because he paid the price for my sin and rescued me from hell.

What do you mean condemn people to heck? you see the mormon religeon is all about the merciful god anyone can repent god always forgives the only thing unforgivable is seeing god and lieing about it everyone gets a 2nd chance or a 3rd or even a 100th but you have to try repent and god shall forgive you and even if you die before you get a chance in the millenium you can still have chances.
