To dream about the death of a loved one, suggests that you are lacking a certain aspect or quality that the loved one embodies. Ask yourself what makes this person special or what do you like about him. It is that very quality that you are lacking in your own relationship or circumstances. Alternatively, it indicates that whatever that person represents has no part in your own life

when you dream you dream you dream in symbols that are created by the sub-conscious to help you solve problems in your dream state that you cannot handle in your awake state. a dream about death does not necessarily mean a real death. it can mean death in other ways such as a death in a relationship, a loss of a job, a loss of a home, a loss of a dream that you have held onto for many years, and many other things. remember though that dreams only deal with the past and the present, never the future unless the present rolls over into the future. i suggest that you keep an open mind about what may be going on around you right now and be prepared. i do not think that you have anything to be afraid of. at least not where therre is an actual death. if i may stick my neck out a little here.....what shape is your marriage in????? is it going okay as far as you know????? you might want to pay attention to it and more attention to your wife iand her needs.

i would consider seriously what the message is.. Is your wife afraid for your life?Does she think an actual mortal event may occur that will take your life? I have had such a dream of a tragic violent death and it DID HAPPEN. The dream was quite upsetting to me the next morning and my friend did die in a horrible accident about 7 months later. I dreamed that dream to warn him of what his actions would be that lead up to the accident. It could have been prevented maybe... Messed with me for a Long time.. felt alot of guilt

Consider changes in your relationship with your wife. Your "death" could signify a disconnection between you and her. There might be time to restore yourself as the man in her life. Consider whether you are spending enough quality time with her, finding shared interests, and maintaining the love which once existed. "Love held too tightly dies; love held too lightly flies."

She's simply dreaming of her fears, because if she were dreaming of her desires then she wouldn't have told you, she would have actually done it.
