i would go with the traditional white fridge if i were you. they are less expensive and will hold their resale value better than s.s.
yep, s.s. is trendy and hot right now, but we all know trends can die real quick! and s.s. can be overpowering if it isn't exactly the right setting - meaning you will have a harder time finding a buyer for your fridge.
s.s. is also a pain to keep clean of fingerprints etc. it shows every mark!

A white fridge will be easier to keep clean. It has been difficult for me to find stainless cleaners that don't streak, but I can clean up a white fridge like new - inside and out.
The other thing you might want to consider is the price - which will be less of loss to sell if you can't get the price you want for it. I can't image the re-sale on a stainless steel fridge would be very good.
Personally, I would love stainless steel, but it isn't worth the trouble for me.

Stanless steal is the most popular, but you have to clean it all the time, or all the finger prints show. I myself like the almond color, it isn't as stark as the white one, and doesn't show prints like the other ones do. I don't think it will matter, because a used fridge will sell no matter what, but you might not get the money out of it that you want. Price used ones right now to see what they are selling for, compared to a new one. You'll know what your return will be.

I'd buy a white refrigerator for easy resale. Even an almond colored one will resell well. Stainless steel is a real pain to keep clean & free of fingerprints but many like them for style. I find them cold & institutional looking.

Stainless steel appliances sell homes so I would go with that unless of course the rest of your appliances are white. In that case, match them.

A white refrigerator would be greater handy to maintain sparkling. it rather is been puzzling for me to locate stainless cleaners that don't streak, yet i will freshen up a white refrigerator like new - interior and out. the different ingredient this is rather useful to contemplate is the fee - which would be much less of loss to sell in case you won't have the capacity to get the fee you choose for it. i won't have the capacity to photograph the re-sale on a chrome metallic refrigerator may well be very sturdy. in my view, i might like chrome metallic, besides the shown fact that it rather is no longer rather actual worth the hardship for me.

You will take less of a loss on a white one, for the simple fact that they are cheaper to start with.
Some advice--do NOT buy a Sears Kenmore. I am currently in my 6th day of waiting for the SECOND repair call on my 60 day old kenmore, which won't cool below 50 degrees.
It took 8 days of no fridge the first time, and I am fed UP with it.
