ok i'm getting braces in a couple of days. what should i be expecting? when will my teeth move to be a pretty smile with the braces on? my teeth aren't THAT bad, but idk what to expect... whats going to happen? What colors should I get?? HELP! =P

Okay... a couple days before u get your braces on start to put on chap stick. Because when they put your braces on they have to pull your lips open wide, and if they are craked and chapped they will HURT! And about a half hour before you get your braces on take Advil or Asprin.
If your a guy you should get the color silver... it looks really good from a girls perspective.
And if your a girl you should get pink OR white. Just looks really nice.

First of all...I would very highly reccomend if you take Tylenol or Aspirin about 15 to 20 minutes before...You'll know why afterwards...;D
The actual process of putting the brackets on doesn't hurt at all...it just takes forEVER!! So if you have a mp3 player, you might want to bring that otherwise you could be napping by the end of it...lol!.....When they put the wire in, it'll feel really tight at first...and I mean really tight!...but over time, that'll dissipate....and you might get some pretty nasty canker sores, but that's just because your mouth is getting used to the brackets....that'll go away too....just put a good bit of wax on the bracket that's causing the trouble and it'll all be fine after a couple days!
And it's not like your teeth will hurt every single day of having braces...if they did, there wouldn't be any point putting people through THAT kind of torture just for straight teeth....Oh! Another thing! You REALLY want to wear your rubber bands (if you'll have any, that is) as much as you possibly can....it will speed up the process SOOOO much and you'll be SOOOOOOO glad to get through it as fast as you possibly can!

U should expect ur teeth to constantly move u may not feel it every time but ur on ur way to havin a great smile,ive had mine off for a couple of years n i alwayz get compliments on my smile u'll b ok ps pick ur fav color & relax

You're going to be in terrible pain for a few days, but you can take Tylenol or something stronger if you need it. I sure did. In just a few short months, you will notice that your teeth look WAY better!

It doesn't hurt when you first get them on but after a day your mouth is just in consit pain like having a tooth pulled but worse. A lot of people get huge canker sores in the first few weeks too but it not horrible.

getting your braces on does NOT hurt AT ALL. some people live bRaces some dont.. they may hurt seomtims because of moving bu it goes away overnight. and about the colors...whatever fits your style!! i like the pink =]
