Take her to the vet right now. The injury you describe requires immediate attention. There are plenty of emergency vet care places. Look in your phone book for the nearest one. Also, most reqular vets will provide an off-hours number to call for emergencies. Call the regular number and see if you can find it.
Why on earth would you get an animal you are not prepared to care for properly?

He needs to see a vet. I currently have a gerbil with a broken leg(he was from a very neglectful store). Most vet cannot set and cast a rodent leg since any rodent will chew through the cast and into the flesh and bone. Do not try and set the leg yourself, you are likely to do more damage than good, just leave it be. What the vet is most likely to do is give you hamster medicine to help with pain and swelling. With less pain your hamster may begin to eat again. The pain is probably so bad he doesn't want to eat and drink. The gerbil I have now is recovering well. He uses the leg, but not fully. Since it could not be set, it has healed a little odd and he paddles the foot instead of bringing it under his body. The broken leg is not going to kill him directly. If he is not treated that he will probably stop eating and drinking and die from that. Even if you are not willing to treat the injury, at least take the hamster to the vet and have him put down so he is not suffering.

If you aren't going to take your hamster to the vet, let the dog finish eating it, the death will be quicker and less painful for your poor hamster than the slow painful death from the complications of a broken leg.
I hope I got the point across.

Instead of typing away on Yahoo! get this poor creature to a vet. To not do so is the height of cruelty and you don't sound like a cruel person. This poor animal is probably very distressed. If cost is the concern - then take the animal to your local animal shelter or vet and explain your situation - hopefully they can put the poor creature to sleep.

Don't let the poor thing suffer. You have to take it to the vet. There is nothing that you can do to fix a broken leg. Not only that but there may be even more injuries that you don't know about! Take hammy to the vet!

And you're not going to take her to the vet because....?
For heaven's sake get the poor thing to the vet! She has a broken leg, two lolly sticks and some sticky tape aren't going to fix it.

YEAH, your hamster will die if you do not take her to the vet now.
Infection will occur, and it will be hard to get rid of.

Take her to the vet now.
"I'm not going to" is an unacceptable answer for someone who has taken on the RESPONSIBILTY of pet ownership.
