i just bought a camcorder and I really want to get better sound, but it doesnt have a slot for a shot mic. the only slots are dv, av and a dc. i really do want better sound but i dont want to take this one back, and save more money for a better one. Is there a cheap way to get sound that sounds good?

its not how loud it is. its the quality. and i dont have the money for the one i want unless i wait a year to save enough.

Tell your subjects to speak up!
Either that or record a speperate sound track with a recorder and try to sync it with your video. Good luck with that!
I'd rather just return the camera and get the one that has the features that I want.

You obviously didn't take the first posters suggestion. Yes, you need to tell people to speak up. Try it and let us know how it works.
