Ok i have a gap inbetween my teeth, they are crooked, and i have a major overbite that causes my jaw to hurt. I want and need braces really bad but my mom says we dont have the money. I understand that but i was wondering if theres anything that will help me get them without having to not have money because we do have money but i dont have dental insurance either.

My mom lived in the projects when she needed braces. But she went to a dental school to get it done.

I think you good get a very good discount if you could get the work done at a dental school. Otherwise, if this is not a possibility, wait until you are an adult and working and then see a dentist. You figure out how much it is going to cost and how you can pay for it then. Many adults get this sort of work done because their families could not afford it when they were children.

When you go to an orthodontist, they can give you a payment plan. In my daughters situation; I'm a single parent and not working. We are both on NC Medicaid. I found one orthodontist an hour away that takes this insurance but you have to be approved by the insurance to qualify for braces. Hope this helps. Try insurance like famos? They advertise it on tv.
