Prior to 1969 planes into the Seychelles landed on the sea.I was on the first flight to the new runway by BA on a VC10 he circled the islands before landing and each passenger was greeted like royalty and garlands were hung around our necks.Of course this was prior to the tourism explosion but it still has that old world charm and is Paradise.The Sea food is cheap and excellent.A liitle story for you i have a Seychells Bank note and it has Palm trees at the top L/hand corner.Turn it around and hidied in the branches are the word SEX.Absolutly true.The note was printed by Harrisons of London.I know quite a bit about the Seychelles feel free to contact me.
