I think someone shouldn't date until they're 16 with restrictions such as not being alone in a bedroom unless the door is open. 16 is not a magic age, but it seems to be a good standard. It should actually depend on the maturity of the person. If a teenager is responsible with their schoolwork and extracurricular activities and hasn't been rebellious, then they might get to date sooner. I also think that privilege comes with the ability to revoke it at any time should the maturity level decline.

Ask your parents.
Personally, I would say at least 13 or 14, and then only on daytime or group dates with someone that your parents have met.
After a few years (depending on the maturity and trustworthiness of the teen), then it would be okay to have nighttime dates alone.

You could start when you're freshman in highschool, although I wouldn't recomend it till sophmore year.
In other words,15-16.

I would say 7th grade. Cause then you are in jr. high and you start to understand each other better!
