Head over to http://www.processlibrary.com to learn what each of those processes are.

You can decide to end the process, or just not have them run at all until you want them to by clicking START, then RUN, and typing in MSCONFIG. On the STARTUP tab, you can select what starts with Windows.

You can ask the Task Manager to "Hide all Windows Processes". Then you can try shutting off nonessential processes a few at a time. When in doubt, I usually use Google, with the process itself as the Search Term. This leads to websites where you can find out what each Process does, and whether it is safe to turn it off. And you may want to turn off some of the Startup Processes using MSCONFIG.

thats normal
you can choose to shut down any with your name by them but need to be more careful when closing system processes as some are critical
[a couple of them close your pc down with a 30 second count down [ben there done that -got the tee shirt!
choosing to shutdown processes that are using lots of memory is your best option
good luck

Look up your processes on Process Library. This site will tell you which processes are good and bad or unneeded.
