First of all, WHERE does it say that Yeshua Jesus was born in the fall of the year?
A good question. Because there was NO POSSIBLE WAY for that question to be answered unless the Jews read the New Testament, and the Christians STUDIED the Old Testament. Isn't Yeshua Jesus 'Wonderful'
(Isaiah 9:6)!!
He compelled us to need each other in order to arrive at the fullness of truth.
They couldn't do it without us, and we couldn't do it without them. Ingenious!
"How good it is when brethren dwell in harmony" Psalm 133

t is notable that there is not a long prelude of liturgical days leading up to Jesus' birth. In other words, in traditional Christianity, Christmas preparations begin months before the holiday. The expectation and excitement accelerates as we near THE day.
(Commercialists have seized upon this, and it has become the e-commerce holiday of the year too).

Yet in the true Biblical feast of Jesus' birth, you can have no more than 4 liturgical days of preparation. Perhaps these four days signify the 4,000 years that mankind has waited for "the Seed" promised in the Garden of Eden that would bruise the head of the serpent ( Jesus would victoriously conquer Satan three times ).
Genesis 3:15
At the cross Yeshua won spiritual dominion over Satan for all true Believers.
At Armageddon, Jesus will vanquish Satan physically.
After the Millennial reign of Yeshua and for all time, Satan will be eternally damned in hell.

my husband will build a sukkah and i will bake some speical treat.
and for all of you who are knocking this person who asked the question. what is better, to think of Yahshua on the day he was probably born and celebrate in a way the ot commands, or to celebrate his birth on christmas, which is a pagan holiday? in fact, God says in the bible not to worship Him as the pagans worship their Gods.

I love the way you put that. It reminds me of the picture in Matthew of Yeshua crossing the water, first to the Jews, then to the Gentiles, back and forth. The Jews are a light to the Gentiles. I just wish more of us could see it.

Have a blessed and joyful feast.

I'll be doing nothing for this odd and peculiar, idiosyncratic interpretation you have. Instead, in harmony with my brethren of the faith, I will celebrate the Nativity at the conventional time, since it does not matter whether or not it is His "birthday", only that we commemorate His birth.

I haven't the foggiest what you're on about, but if shepherds had their flocks out at night I guess it probably wasn't December... good luck

Is there a real question in there? If it is about doing something on his birthday, then no. It will be another day for me.

Nowhere in all of scripture is there any evidence or indication that Jesus, the disciples or the earliest church EVER celebrated Jesus' birthday. NOWHERE are Christians called to celebrate it. Birthdays are actually pagan observances.

Jesus asked to be remembered IN ONLY ONE WAY.

Luk 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake [it], and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

1Cr 11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

1Cr 11:25 After the same manner also [he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me.
