Well thats up to you and your parents really but Id say 12 or 13 is good so you can start expetimenting with what qualities you like in a guy and what not so much. Honestly I think its kind of funny seeing the little 10 year olds with "boyfriends" when all they do is talk in between class and blush alot I wouldnt recomend dating at a young age like that because in elementary if you date half the nice guys chances are if you broke up with them they wont want to get back together in middle school when relationships really start to take off and mean more. Also never feel pressured to get a boyfriend because all of your friends have one I did that once and it turned out horrible

If you are doing any of these things, you have to stop right now. Because if you're asking, "What can I
do to get my ex boyfriend back," all of the above mistakes will not do it, so stop doing these things
immediately!
So then, what should I be doing to get my ex boyfriend back, you ask?
Here are some helpful tips for you to follow that actually work.
You have to stop whatever you've been doing. It obviously didn't work, and if you were making the
mistakes I mentioned above, then you really need to stop and take a step back. It's time for a fresh
approach.
You have to break complete contact with him, at least for a while. If you really like him, I know this is
going to be difficult, but you have to do it. You can't communicate with him in any way. So, no texting,
no IM'ing, no anything. You have to go "cold turkey" in a sense.
You can consider this "you time" where you work on yourself. You have to work on improving your life
instead of focusing your attention on your failed relationship. This will be probably be a difficult time
for you, and it's going to feel almost impossible to not call him, but you'll need to stay disciplined so
that you don't revert back to your old ways.
Just remember that what you were doing wasn't working. You're trying something new.

there is no specific age to have a boyfriend, but i would advice that you be mature enough to know what you are getting yourself into, because it seems easy but once the stress and problems start coming you would wish you never had one!. Take you time and search the market for an understanding, loving and caring boyfriend. Don't rush just take it step by step.

There is really no age. Best age though is when you are ready. You don't want to get pressured to do something you don't want to do so early. So if your bff has a boyfriend, you don't have to unless you really like the guy, and if he finds out you didn't like him and you were just going out with him because you wanted a boyfriend, it might hurt his feelings.

What do you want a boyfriend for? What you intend on doing with a boyfriend is what will determine if you are too young to have one.
