My dad is a Canadian Citizen who immigrated here 5 years ago. He is 68, married and has no income. Presently he doesn't get any monies from the government. Is he entitled to OAS or any government pension program. If yes, what steps do I have to take and who can I reach to help me?

Go to the local Gov. Canada building where he lives.
They usually have several service departments.
He won't get CPP if he never worked & contributed to it.
But he should be eligible for OAS at age 65.
Be sure to check with his native country too.
He may be entitled to benefits from there, if he worked.
