We are NOT God. I am sick and tired of people taking Bible verses out of context to make it look bad. The Bible is the word of God and we should have faith and put our faith in Him.

Agree? It is not our place to question.

If you have enough faith, then you will know that the word is true. You will see what the Lord can do for you.

Any fool can find an excuse for any reason in the Bible. How can you have faith in that?

I am a Christian and I do not agree with your statement and apparently neither does God, because if we do not question we will not know what we believe and he wants us to know how to answer anyone who asks us about our faith. Maybe that is why God puts us through testing and trials. you must remember and read this clearly so you understand what I am saying Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see....do you see those two words SURE and CERTAIN...we can not get to that point without actually asking questions like what do I believe? I hope you see what I am getting at Peace.

If you don't question then how would you know how to answer questions about your faith ?
Do you think because it say so in the bible or the lord moves in mysterious ways is a good enough answer?
Questions are the beginning of knowledge.

If we don't question, we don't learn. We must go to the source, God for our answers. He has given us His written Word. We can gain wisdom if we ask. When we ask, He gives us answers that agree with His Spirit. Not contradictions.

The Bible is God's written Word to us.
It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.

“Above all you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” 2 Peter 1:20-21. (New International Version)

Those who take verses out of context are people who can do that with any book. They are not looking for answers from God.

It's fine for all these other Christians to say have faith in god and the bible but if you don't question and seek out the truth about god, then how would you know where to place that faith.
If you don't question then you may end up a sucker in one of those cults like Wacol or Jonestown.

By your statement, if I have faith what I have read in the National Enquirer that the aliens are coming down to reclaim earth, than it must be true, right? Because I have faith in what was written there.

Some in bible times did question God and because of their history with him, he not only consider them as a person but some were close personal friends.
Jehovah God also answered their questions.
Proper studied and motive for such questions is essentially for finding out what the answer is.

That is the typical first step in brain-washing...telling the person to have absolute faith in "x" (x being a god, a religion, a person, a government, etc). That "x" would never let them down. What a load of bull.

It is ok to question God.

Biblically, abraham did it. Jacob not only questioned God, but wrestled with him!

Lot did it,
BIblically, there were many whom questioned God. They believed in God 100 percent, but they still did not roll over and play dead, they asked for clarification, they asked for favor for those whom did not deserve it. They asked for more time for some to repent and be saved.

Sometimes God gave them what they asked for, sometimes they had to accept what was going to happen.

No matter what, all these people knew and understood GOD was and is in control, but they still questioned if it had to be done, or if it had to happen, etc.

It is ok to question GOD, as long as we know and understand that God has all the answers and we do not.

I disagree. Faith cannot be built unless we have questions.

The Old Testament is filled with stories of people who questioned God, and God seemed to savor those conversations.

Let's see, Job, the woman at the well, Moses...need I continue? David. Jacob. Jeremiah.

We are human and God created us the way we are. Doesn't the Bible even describe people, His own disciples , going through times of disbelief, or questioning. It's better to question it, than just believe what your pastor is teaching. God wants us to study and find out for ourselves.
He's in control, but we ain't robots, we can decide for ourselves.
