i've recently gotten engaged. i'm 18. my fiancee is in her 30's. does this mean that our relationship is wrong because of our age difference? i love her, and she loves me, and thats all that matters to us. i want to know if it's wrong for us to be together. i am of legal age though to make love to my fiancee if i choose to. ( just reminding yall) thats my question.

I absolutely think that it isn't wrong for you two to be together. People get so wrapped up in their miserable lives so they try to make others the same way. Damn the haters because if it feels right then it is!

My first thought is neither. Each relationship is individual, and age is not important as long as both parties see it as such. Obviously I also have to point out that I mean people of LEGAL age, which you are. Age is only one of many factors.

What I have to question is why you feel the need to question age at all. If it truly weren't a problem, would you feel the need to ask?

Ask yourself if there are any other issues that come up between you two. Ask yourself if you truly want to be with this woman for the rest of your lives.

If you are truly happy and want to marry her, then don't let anything, including age, stop you.

Hello Ray, Age matters not. I am older than my husband (not as much as you) but I don't see any reason to worry if you both are happy and will agree on the future together. See, that was one of my main concerns, is my husband will start looking for younger girls when I start looking old....I mean really old... I'm 50 now and he is in his late 30's..I worry about the younger cuties....Anyway, you choose to love the girl you want for the rest of your lives. Congrats Hon. :D

It's legal and as long as your fiancee is mentally responsible, there's no problem. Good luck and may you have many happy years together.

You shouldn't be concerned what other people think.
If you and your fiance are happy that's all that matters.
you have to be prepared to hear criticism from other people. In which you are setting yourself up, by posting your question.

In which I also think that if you are asking. it is because deep inside, you might think its wrong.
