You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky
You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.

You're preaching to the choir, honey.
For those who are confused- Why do you automatically dismiss another person's beliefs as ridiculous when your own can be interpreted as far-fetched to say the least?

These kinds of questions give me a chuckle. You argue the beliefs of Christians when you don't even know that many of us don't believe in creationalism. I don't believe in it but I don't attack my fellow Christians who do. They are believing what their churches are teaching them in faith. If they chose not to believe in evolution because they think it goes against the bible then God still loves them. Who cares?
As for your statement, " You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans" we don't laugh at anyone's beliefs. Again you are misrepresenting us.
And as far as the Holy Spirit thing goes, God the creator of the universe and everything in it, chose to come to earth in bodily form so He could pay for our sins on the cross, for your sins, too. Why don't you step back and look at what His plan was, to die in YOUR place for what YOU'VE done rather than nit pick about how he got here.

Umm... that's pethetic that you go on Yahoo to insult Christians... not all of us are close-minded to diffrent ways. Hate the person, not the relegion.
