I didn't have any kind of way to contact you. But you had responded to a question that I posted. Out of all the answers that I received yours mimicked the most the way that I use to feel. I use to feel as if people that were in the church were being brainwashed and fanatics therefore I would not go that often. But as I got older I began to see that maybe that particular church was not for me. Then also I began to see that with anything else, that there was some false people out there that was misleading. You also commented that most Christians are shocked by how sinful everyone in the world is. Well, maybe the churches that you had been to were the ones that had the perfect people in them but I know that the churches that I have been to know that none of us are perfect or without sin. Changing my life was the best thing that I have done and it has gotten SO much better. I can't apologize for others that left a bad taste but everone is not alike. We do have good music(inside joke) lol.

I'm not Doraleigh, but I'm glad your church experience was so good. I think so many people feel that way about church brainwashing people, etc. because most of the Christians we come in contact with on here are not as open-minded as you seem to be; in fact, many of them seem to use this as a forum to bash anyone whose politics, religions, or lifestyles they can't understand. This is unfortunate, as I would like to believe that genuinely good Christians like you are the rule and not the exception. Have a happy day.
