I just wanna see and the wacy zany and unique ideas others have/had!

My totally awesome unique crazy idea is......everyone in the bridal parties to be drssed up in drit bike gear.....with bikes!
Hubby will be waiting at the alter on his bike...I'll be in some what a gown/dirtbike gear...will ride up to him....stop and sit on my bike...do the vows...and then hop on his bike...and ride away into the sunset...then quick changes in to reg. clothes and party like a rock star!! Perfect wedding out in the country with the people that matter most!! AWESOME!

More details in the works but that's all for now!

Let me know what you think...and your wedding themes and ideas!!

Sounds great to me! I'd love to attend.

Our wedding was at the pirate faire, we were married at a pirate encampment by a pirate minister; after the ceremony we all went to shoot black powder cannons over by the lake, and spent the rest of the evening drinking rum, singing and having a good time around the fire.

I actually saw something like that on a wedding show a couple of months back but instead of dirt bikes they used Harley's and the bride was all in white leather and the guy in black leather. The Bridesmaids had on orange leather (harley orange) It actually looked like it was alot of fun. The bride had her dad drive the bike down the isle. Her helmet had the veil hanging out of it. I think your idea being similar would be fun and something that people would talk about for years to come. People would definitly remember it.

One more thing...the ring bear and flower girl drove down the isle on little motorized toy bikes...Very cute.

... lol ... our wedding sounds a little like your idea ... !

We ride dirt bikes, race Rhinos and love to camp. His family has Harley's and a ton of my family owns some type of motorcycle.

We had the groom and the ring bearer on his lap ( my little cousin ) ride from our neighbors house to the drive way where we were getting married ( all on Black loud Harley's ) ... next drove up my daddy and my daughter ( the flower girl ) ... after they did there thing my father in law drove me to the isle where my daddy was waiting to walk me down ... it was so much fun ... we played " Hells Bells " by AC/DC ... people absolutely loved it ... after we got married they introduced us and we played Billy Idols - White Wedding ... lol ... perfect to start the party with ... !

We had " special " brownies for dessert and Mexican pizza for munchies later on in the night - we had a DJ from 6-10 and a live band that played Rock-n-Roll from 9:30-12 midnight ... it was so much fun - I just wish we didn't worry so much about the little things - like decorations ... or must haves ... our wedding was a little too informal for some of the traditions ... I felt like we wasted too much $$$ on little things like candles and crap ... !

Good luck ... sounds like a wedding we would enjoy ... !

My thought has always been to hold a "housewarming party" and surprise the guests with it really being the wedding.
It would be like a family picnic and there would be no fuss no muss about any of it because I really wouldn't want anyone at my wedding who wouldn't come to my house for a housewarming or other family event.

That sounds like fun. I'm no where close to getting married, but I've always wanted a Halloween (my most favorite holiday!) themed wedding. Guests would be required to come in costume, and the reception hall would be decorated like a haunted house.
