The easiest marinade for steak possible would probably Italian dressing. The vinegar in the dressing serves as a tenderizer, helping you get a juicy/flavorful end product. The best way to get full flavor from your marinade:
1) You can either buy the Italian dressing seasoning packet, and make your own Italian dressing, or buy pre-made Italian dressing.
2) Put dressing in a large zip-lock bag and add the beef.
3) Seal bag, getting out as much air as possible.
4) Slosh the meat around in the bag for a minute or so.
5) Place bag flat into a large dish-to catch and dressing if the bag leaks.
*For best results, flip zip-lock bag over every few hours to ensure equal marinade distribution over meat.
6) Grill the next day and enjoy!!

I make teryaki marinade:
1 1/2 cup of soy sauce
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of regular sugar
fresh garlic to taste
1/4 cup of water
drain the juice from a small can of pineapple ( eat the pineapple for a treat!!)
mix all together in dish that is large enough for your steak or chicken, place the steak/chicken in the marinade, cover with saran wrap or lid and place in fridge, make sure you turn the meat over once in a while. Marinade for as little as 30 minutes, or as much as 4-6 hours for stronger taste. BBQ or broil the meat, I baste it a lot with the same mix from the bowl, turn the meat and cook on both sides. I serve it with rice and a veggie ( sweet corn when in season) and my family loves it. Increase the recipe as needed for larger amounts of meat.
