When he was 12 to 16 years old he did it wih guys and liked girls but never did it with a girl. I dated him for 4 years from age 23 to 27 and he told me only last week! He had grown up in group homes and institutions and said he was experimenting cuz he was messed up. I thought he lost his virginity to me but he really lost it to 5 gay guys and i'm crushed! what do i do now? he needs me as a friend at least because he may become suicidal. but i don't see myself marrying him--i want a real virgin! how am i supposed to trust anyone now?

Why do you "need" a real virgin? It's not like you can actually tell with most people if they have or haven't, specially with males. You found out that your boyfriend has a past, lots of people do, it in no way shape or form means that is how he is NOW..WITH YOU. He was being honest with you, probably because he thought it best to be so, and at least he was that, he may hav been ashamed of his past and found it hard to tell you for how you would react, and now look at how you HAVE reacted. You may be crushed but are you willing to throw away so many years over the truth? Would you feel better if he had continued to lie about it?

Talk with him first, evaluate your feelings and take some time to just reflect. He trusted you enough to tell him, trust him enough let him show you the person he is NOW.

Just because he is not a virgin, that does not change the person he is. You fell for this guy because of the person he is now, not because of the person he used to be.

How does who he lost his virginity to change who he is inside? Either you dig him, or you don't.
