I have lived in this place for... this will be my second year. I'm a very outgoing person and I haven't been acting glum around school. I know I have give it a fair shot. I am so unhappy though. I miss my friends. I have friends here. I have given it time. How can I convince my parents that I should move back? Don't tell me that I should just give this new place time or that I should just roll with the punches. I miss feeling excepted and having close friends.
Any suggestions? Would a letter to my parents help? I've already expressed that I wanted to move back by talking to them but I think they thought I was just in a bad mood.

I just moved into a new neighborhood about 2 years ago and when I first moved in I was very depressed, I went from a very nice and accepting neighborhood so knowing nobody, it was very hard but just recently I befriended a very outgoing person who moved in a month before I but she seemed to know everyone around me so she has been having BBQ's at her house and inviting different people over and I am gradually starting to like much better where I am. I do understand where your coming from but if you can find that one person you may be able to accept and better like your place.

Don't waste your parents' money.
At least complete the semester and then transfer to a school closer to your parents.
