Yogurt is good in small amounts for promoting healthy bacteria for digestion. But, fruity yogurt has a lot of sugar which is not so healthy, so stick with the plain stuff, not vanilla, just plain.
Adding a tablespoon to a meal every now and then is plenty, too much dairy can cause diarrhea.

I didn't know it was good for your dog...well if I gave my dog yogurt..i wouldn't give it go gurt..go gurt is more for kids and it doesn't have any healthy stuff in it..its just made to taste good...so i would give it some things like meadowgold...or yoplai...but not the yoplai whips...and even fruit would be ok

You don't need to feed him go-gurt. It has no nutritional value. If you give him any kind of yogurt, give him a plain one. However, do not give him too much because it may upset his stomach.

Yogurt is great for your dog! I feed mine a big spoonful a day.

It's best to stick with plain yogurt (dogs don't care about flavor... they like the plain! And that way you don't risk giving them fruit that will give them gas or other nasty ailments or making them gain weight with the sugars)

It'll help your dog keep his/her digestive system in proper working order and help them maintain a healthy coat, so it's a great idea to feed some!

Good luck!

Dogs can definitely eat yogurt, but try to stay away from anything with too much sugar. Try to give them plain yogurt with live cultures.
