My wedding is September 13, 2008 and we're planning on going to Hawaii for our honeymoon. How soon should I make the reservations?

I would make them in Jan. the longer you wait the more expensive the plane tickets will be. you might want to start pricing them out now. It's not to soon.

- 6-12 months: Do your research and select a destination that's affordable and suits you as a couple. (Responsible Travel has an excellent variety of honeymoon ideas - see links below.)
- 4-6 months: Make your reservations. The earlier you book, typically the cheaper the flight and accommodations will be, and the more options you'll have. Also, if you've chosen an exotic locale, such as Mali, you may need an immunization (or several) in advance.

Haha, we have the exact same wedding date and honeymoon destination! Maybe I'll see you there?
Anyway, you want to buy far in advance and you want to get a package deal for the hotel if possible. Be sure and stay over a Saturday and fly on days where airfare is cheaper, like Monday-Thursday, or on a Saturday. Good luck!

The sooner the better... even now... because that gives you time to cancel and change reservations... airfare is cheaper the earlier out... etc. Plus, you can go ahead and reserve something now, and then if you all of a sudden find a great deal, you can cancel the old reservation... if you wait too late, you wont have a chance to "shop around"...

well you could look into now. get a travel agent to get the best answers for that area . she can let you know about deals in advance . may you have a super honeymoon and a great wedding

I would suggest as soon as possible. Get your price locked in before the prices go up. Plus, if you get it done now, you may save yourself some stress. It will be one less thing to think of when the wedding details start creeping up on you!

as soon as you can... that stuff is important, you don't know rather those seats go fast or not.
you don't want to be home on your honeymoon trust me just be cautious and get it done right away.
