I've noticed myself when drinking after i've had a "fag, ciggi" that i feel the effect suddenly anyone else got this problem?

Yes, they do. They take away oxygen from the blood, and in turn to the brain. My uncle bought a home breath tester for him and his wife. She had 1 glass of wine and tested at .04. She then had a ciggy with no more wine. It doubled.

I think he got the little breath tester from Sharper Image.

No I drink Bud Light and I usually get drunk after about 10 beers

don't know that they would cause the alcohol to hit you quicker, but smoking will cause you to take a drink more often than someone who isn't smoking. So you may drink more with a cig than without. I know I do, and I smoke more when I'm drinking....vicious cycle.
