I'm Muslim, no I wouldn't have done what he done. Why should I force the woman to wear a scarf when she doesnt want to? I would only be interested in treating the woman...not wasting my time

Unless the woman was a Muslim I don't see what right he had in telling her to cover up. Even if she was Muslim, I don't think a dentist, or any kind of health professional, should be able to discriminate due to religious affiliation. Health professionals are there to treat, not to judge. They should keep their personal feeling to themselves.

In some Muslim countries, male doctors and dentists can not treat female patients, and verse vicea.

He doesn't have the right to tell anyone to wear a scarf (apart from his immediate family).
Even so what if the women he treated were not Muslim's how would they feel when this was imposed upon them?
Thanks for the insight to this!

If a doctor or dentist doesn't want my co-pay, then that's on his dogmatic ***, I'll go elsewhere.
And I'd hope that the headscarves have something pretty on them, like flowers or ponies or glittery stuff.

I can not refuse to rent my house to someone based on sex, color, religion or sexual preference, that is discrimination. The same rules should apply to the dentist.

Hit him where it hurts - patronize a different dentist. Period, end of discussion. When he isnt making any more money, maybe he will change his ways.
