ive dl'ed a pretty good free program like this before but for the life of me i cant remember what it was called. any help?

If you're simply wanting to resize the images you don't even have to download or install any special software on your computer to do that. You can use an image-hosting website like photobucket.com that allows you to resize to standard formats. If you have specific formats that you need to use, then irfanview would be better for you. in case you have merely have been given some: open the report with Paint, go with image > Stretch/skew and use the stretch gadget to decrease the two the dimensions and the width. Any image enhancing application could be used to resize pictures. you mostly get one unfastened with a digital camera, yet not with a telephone.

IrfanView is free and does some basic editing (like resizing), without the image losing much of its quality.

If you mean an image which you have inserted into a Word document, for example, click it to select, then drag out one of the corner sizing handles.

well you could use a fancy program like fireworks or photoshop but i would just use paint
